The Gateway is a web-based, management system that can be implemented by any organization as their main web portal for collaborative purposes. The Gateway has provided value to organizations that utilize a Quality Management System (QMS) to address the processes that surround the design, development, and delivery of product or services. The end goal would be for organizations to utilize the Gateway to obtain sufficient data to make informed decisions to continuously improve QMS.
The Gateway can be implemented for any organization with current capabilities, or the solution can be customized to meet any organization's specific needs. The solution can be hosted in a Data Center, and key functions can be disabled / enabled depending on organizational needs.
Gateway Portal consists of four components:
The Task Management System enables multiple, organizational business unit departments to send task requests to other departments, and track the tasks that are linked with specified target dates. Task performance can then be reviewed by Management through Capability Reports. Data is exportable to Excel, and PDF formats for Management to utilize data for reporting / presentation purposes.
